Crossbody bag crochet pattern is coming soon!

Little update on my crochet life and new pattern information

Hi,

I hope you're doing well! And I also hope you've crocheted something nice recently! 🥰

The first half of September was quite busy for me, in the second half I visited my family and friends abroad so I had a little rest. This month I went to 4 markets and some of them were more successful than others, in September the weather was unfortunately not good… But I met wonderful people at each of these markets. 💗

And… I worked on a crossbody bag pattern! I have already received feedback from my testers, so the pattern will be available very soon! 🥳

If you want to get ready for it now, look for the cord in the right color, etc. Look at the information below with answers to frequently asked questions.

- The pattern will guide you through making a half moon shaped bag with flap. With dimensions approximately: length: 24-26cm, height: 20-22cm, width: 5-7cm and strap length: 110-115cm (the length of the strap will be easy to change, this will be described later in the pattern)

- The pattern also includes a section on making a tassel and blocking the finished work.

- Beginner-friendly file with 18 pages, over 100 photos illustrating individual steps.

- Available in two files for download: Standard US or UK Terms used.

- Additional videos available. They show the whole process of making.  In the pattern you will find annotations about specific parts of the videos relating to the steps.

You will need:

For the bag:
- 5mm braided cotton cord (approx. 100m)
- Crochet hook 9mm (or 8mm or 10mm)
- Sharp scissors
- Plastic needle
- 3 stitch markers (different colors may be useful)
- magnetic clasp + sewing needle + thread

For the tassel: swivel lobster claw clasp

I am often asked what cords I use and I recommend, so here is the reminder:

Also, check their Etsy shops.

  •  You can also search for what is available in your area, e.g. on Etsy or Amazon, by entering "braided cotton cord" or "macrame braided cord", etc. If they are described as 5mm thick they should not differ significantly. You will find these cords more often in the macramé materials category.

Psst! On the day of release, as my newsletter subscriber, you will receive an email with a promo code 😉

If you want to ask me something, just reply to this email and I will be happy to answer. 😃

Have a great day! 💗
