Geometric Table Runner crochet pattern coming soon!
Update on my crochet life and pattern information
Hi,
I hope you're doing well and taking some time for yourself. I also hope you've created something amazing with your crochet hook recently! π
Lately I've been to the market every weekend, the weather here in England is already summer, so the market season is in full swing. So I have to do market prep every week. But I do not complain! It's nice to be busy with making! And writing patterns is a nice break from it π
Some time ago I showed on Instagram and here in an e-mail the project I was working on β Geometric Table Runner. The first geometric table runner was created over a year ago - as a gift for my mother on Mother's Day. I didn't show it often on Instagram, but every time I did, you bombarded me with questions about the crochet pattern (that's nice!). I also received a message that someone is planning to make such a table runner as a wedding gift for their daughter. It's sooo cute! π₯°
So! The pattern will be available later this week!

If you want to get ready for it now, look for the cord in the right color, etc. Look at the information below with answers to frequently asked questions.
- The pattern will guide you through making a table runner with a width of approx. 40cm, length determined by you (40x40cm square is minimum) and a thickness of approximately 0.8 - 1 cm.
- If you've never made a granny square or granny stitch or if you tried and had a problem don't worry - everything is described in detail.
- The pattern also shows how to neatly change colours in granny squares and includes a section on blocking the finished work.
- The PDF file has 26 pages, over 120 photos illustrating individual steps.
- Available in two files for download: Standard US or UK Terms used.
- Additional videos available. They show the most important moments of making. In the pattern you will find annotations about specific parts of the videos relating to the steps.

My table runner, with additional square made out of leftovers β perfect to be put on the coffee table
YOU WILL NEED:
- 3mm braided cotton cords
- Sharp scissors
- Crochet hook 6mm (or 5,5mm, 6,5mm, 7mm β then you get a little bit different size)
- Plastic needle or smaller crochet hook e.g. 4,5mm (use one of this to weave in ends)

I am often asked what cords I use and I recommend, so here is the reminder:
Bilibag factory cords - their warehouse is in the UK
This is the website of a UK bilibag cord seller: https://bilibagfactory.co.uk/
Bobbiny cords - they have warehouses in many countries, examples:

This is the website of a EU bobbiny cord seller https://shop.bobbiny.com/en/
Lovely Cottons cords - their warehouse is in the UK

Also, check their Etsy shops.
In the UK, in Hobbycraft stores you can find "Return of the Mac" yarn - it will also work great in this pattern.
You can also search for what is available in your area, e.g. on Amazon, by entering "braided cotton cord" or "macrame braided cord", etc. If they are described as 3 mm thick, they should not differ significantly. You will find these cords more often in the macramΓ© materials category.
Psst! On the day of release, as my newsletter subscriber, you will receive an email with a promo code π
If you want to ask me something, just reply to this email and I will be happy to answer. π
Have a great day!
Iga
