Hot pot trivet coming soon

My dears, I get MANY MANY questions about the pattern for my hot pot trivet.
I am working on it and want everything to be PERFECT! But I can already tell you that it will be available on Monday!

If you want to get ready for it now, look for the cord in the right color, etc. Look at the information below with answers to frequently asked questions.

Pattern will be available o Etsy. It is beginner friendly. Slow videos included.

To make the trivet you will need:

• Braided cotton cord 5mm

• Crochet hook 10mm

• Sharp scissors

• A large plastic needle (or a 6mm crochet hook)
  

The pattern will guide you through making the trivets in three sizes. 
Choose the ones that suit you. You can make several of them from one 100m cord.

Sizes and amount of cord needed for one:

• Small (diameter 13cm)
  Approx. 14meters (60g) of cord

• Medium (diameter 18-19cm)
  Approx. 25 meters (100g) of cord

• Large (diameter 25cm)
  Approx. 38 meters (170g) of cord

When it comes to cords: 

• Check what's available for your location. Search for "braided cotton cord braided cord, cotton cord, macrame cord".

• You will find these cords more often in the macramé materials category.

• If you want these coasters to be heat resistant, it is crucial that the cord consists of 100% cotton.

• I mostly use @bilibagfactory cords, sometimes @hello_bobbiny. Check their websites and Etsy. They are available in many locations around the world.
