New crochet pattern is (finally) coming soon!

Little update on my crochet life and new pattern info.

Hi,

It's summer in the Northern Hemisphere now – and it's been exceptionally beautiful in the UK this year! I hope it's as sunny and pleasant where you are! ☀️ I wanted to share a bit about what’s been happening on my end recently!

I had some slight changes in my private life. We have a new little kitten in our house, who is adorable and fortunately sleeps a lot, but when he's not sleeping all the attention has to be focused on him! 😺 I also try to take care of my health (it's not easy for a person who, when focused on something, forgets to even drink water 🙃). After my vacation in Greece at the beginning of June, I decided to go swimming at least three times a week – so far, it's going great, fingers crossed it stays that way. Obviously, I prefer the couch and crochet, but I try to take care of my muscles during those three hours a week (so I can crochet even more). 🏊️ 🧶

My market season is in full swing; I made a whopping six market stalls in July! As per my "rule," I usually restock the same things I sell, so lately I've been spending a lot of time restocking items for my market stalls. Phone bags and flower coasters have been the most popular lately—no wonder—they fit perfectly with the season! 🌻 👜

So let's move on to talking about the new crochet pattern! The truth is, I wanted to finish it by the end of June – well, as you can see, I didn't make it 😅. I had to devote too much time to artisan markets and my personal life. I worked on this pattern for over two months, but the first versions were created much earlier. This pattern was created because, tired of searching for the perfect "classic granny square with a flower," I decided to simply make my own to use as a wall hanging…

But now I’m excited to share that this new pattern for flower wall hanging will be available later this week! So, stay tuned for the pattern release – I think you’ll find it as beautiful and fun as I do! 🥳

 P.S.

I am often asked what cords I use and I recommend, so here is the reminder:

Also, check their Etsy shops.

  •  You can also search for what is available in your area, e.g. on Etsy or Amazon, by entering "braided cotton cord" or "macrame braided cord", etc. If they are described as 3mm thick they should not differ significantly. You will find these cords more often in the macramé materials category.
