Cat shaped coasters with holder crochet pattern is coming soon!

I hope you're doing well! And I also hope you've crocheted something cute recently! 😊  

I've been to markets a lot lately. Some weekends I even did two markets in a row! I'm getting used to it more and more, it can be a bit tiring 🙈 but the last markets were quite nice and I had a good time chatting with customers and other sellers. Therefore, between markets I was busy preparing for them…. But I finally managed to finish writing a new pattern! 😸 

Some time ago I showed on Instagram and here in an e-mail the project I was working on – Cat shaped coasters and holder 🐱. This is something that has been with me since the beginning of my markets and definitely gathers a lot of attention. Especially among young girls (so this is a sign that it is a good gift idea for them! 🎁).

Now I can say: the pattern will be available later this week! 🥳 

If you want to get ready for it now, look for the cord in the right color, etc. Look at the information below with answers to frequently asked questions. 😊 

- The pattern will guide you through making a coaster with a diameter approx. 9.5cm and a holder for them with diameter 11cm, height determined by you (but if you use a different material, the dimensions will be slightly different, see table below).
- The pattern also shows how to make a bow that can be added to your coaster and includes a section on blocking the finished work.
- The PDF file has 21 pages, over 140 photos illustrating individual steps.
- Available in two files for download: Standard US or UK Terms used.
- Additional videos available. They show the whole process of making.  In the pattern you will find annotations about specific parts of the videos relating to the steps.

YOU WILL NEED: 

- 1,5/2mm single ply twisted cotton cord (or different as shown below)
- each coaster: 18g (11,5m)
- holder for 4 coasters: 50g (31,5m)
- Sharp scissors
- Crochet hook 5mm (or 5,5mm)
- Plastic needle or smaller crochet hook e.g. 3 or 4mm (use one of these to weave in the ends)

•  You can also search for what is available in your area, e.g. on Amazon, by entering "twisted cotton cord" or "macrame twisted cord", etc. If they are described as 1,5mm or 2 mm thick they should not differ significantly. You will find these cords more often in the macramé materials category.
